Does anyone out there have any history of the Predestination Baptist Church at Spring Creek in Logan County, Kentucky? My ancestors Peyton NOWLIN and his wife Lucy joined this church in the late 1790s or early 1800s. Their daughter Elizabeth Nowlin was married 05 April 1812 to Samuel Brooks DAVIS. The marriage ceremony performed by Rev. William Nelson. Does anyone have any information on Rev. Nelson. Was he a minister of the Spring Creek Baptist church?? Would appreciate any information.
