    1. James Simpson in Auburn
    2. I am searching for info on my Simpson line. On the 1900 Logan Co. census for Auburn, I find James Simpson b. 1862, wife Ida (Idabelle Dodson Simpson) b. 1862, daughter Nina M. b. 1886, sons Jesse R. b. 1892 in Bowling Green, Warren Co. and Burnie R. b. 1897 in Warren County. The birthplaces for all and their parents are shown as KY, KY, KY. In 1910, I cannot find James Simpson anywhere. But on the Henderson City 3rd Ward, Henderson Co. census, I find Ida remarried to John Riley/Reilly b. Penn. <1863 and they were married <1907. In household are stepsons Jessie & Burnie Simpson. Also on the 1910 census in Magisterial district 7, Henderson Co., I find Nina Simpson married <1906 to John Evans b. <1882 in KY with daughter Edna b. 1907 KY and son Melvin b. 1909 KY. (The full names of the children are Edna Pearl Evans and Melvin Earl Evans. There was a third child b. in Henderson Co. in 1912 named Irene Evans.) On 1920 census in Colorado Springs, Colorado, I find Idabell Dodson Simpson Reilly, John Reilly, and granddaughter Irene Evans. Jesse Simpson died in Colorado Springs <1819 of TB, and Burnie Simpson died in Cook Co., Ill. in 1968. I have been unable to find Nina Simpson Evans, John Evans, Edna Pearl Evans, or Melvin E. Evans since the 1910 census. They are believed to have moved to Indiana before 1920, but have been unable to find anything there. I would appreciate any information anyone may have on these families, especially any marriage, death, and/or cemetery records. Thank you, Elaine
