February 19, 1784) was actually the son of Richard West, who is listed on the tax list. The William West shown on the tax list is not William West (b. 1752 who's wife has been listed as Angela Clendenning), but rather William West (b. April 19, 1775) who is also son of Richard West. William West (b. 1752) did not appear in Logan Co until 1807 along with his son Matthew West and probable son James West Jr (b. Bet. 1773 - 1785 and married Susanna Morgan).
