Binkley was Sarah Elizabeth Binkley, sister of Rosa Paralee Binkley. In 1900 Sarah E. Stratton, a widow, born October 1852, was living in Lewisburg, Logan Co., KY, with her sons, Archie, born Oct. 1885, and George, born April 1888. [ED 49, Sheet 10A.] According to her father's Mexican War pension file, Sarah was born on 11 Oct. 1852. Rosa Paralee Binkley and William Gibson Stratton were married on 5 Jan. 1881 in Robertson Co., TN, by S. Clinard. [Robertson Co. Marriages, Vol. 6, p. 47] Rosa was born 18 Feb. 1859 according to her father's Mexican War pension file.
