Grise and Mary A. Goodman. James was the son of William M. Grise and Martha C. Gibbs. William and Mary were born in NC and were in KY by 1850. I haven't tried to trace it any further because it isn't my direct line. However, James W. had a sister Jane Elizabeth "Gincy" Grise who married William Jefferson Anderson and he was related to me.
