    2. Hi all researchers, Just recently I have discovered that a Duel between Andrew Jackson and Charles Dickinson occurred in Logan Co. in 1806. Charles Dickinson was the brother of Rebecca Daffin of Md. Charles Dickinson met Andrew Jackson when he stayed at the Daffin home on occassions in Maryland. Thery were friends at first with Charles going to Tennessee where they both had an interest in horse breeding and horse racing I understand. I understand that there is actually a Ky. Historical marker at the location where the duel occurred. It happened on the Jeff Burr Farm in or near Adairville. I know where Adairville is from maps, but does anybody know the exact location of the marker or the Burr Farm? Are there any photos, etc out there of this place? I am a Daffin family researcher and a story of this Duel is at http:// www.daffin.org/TheDuel. This online story mentions Harrison's Mills as the location. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
