There are several reasons you might not have found a death certificate: 1. The death record was never filed, 2. The death record was filed at the county level, but not at the state level, [check county records] 3. The death record was filed at the state level, but may be unreadable and is not indexed, [view Logan Co, Ky microfilm death certs.] 4. She was visiting out-of-state when she died, so the death record would be filed in another state.
