Checking the Logan County, Kentucky Cemetery book, 2000 edition, I have found the following: Page # 326, Auburn Cemetery: JOHNSON, lLrenzo, 1875 - 1910 JOHNSON, Bronna, 27 Oct 1883 - 18 Nov 1909 JOHNSON, Eula, 19 May 1877 - 24 Sept 1893 Page # 327: JOHNSON, Amanda L., 9 Nov 1858 - 7 May 1945 There is a note that field stones mark graves before the grave of Amanda. These stone have no markings on them. Amanda is listed in section G, row 9. I section G, row 10: JOHNSON, Lillian Carline, 13 Sept 1920 - 14 May 1981, Mother JOHNSON, Oscar James, 16 Jan 1919 - 17 Oct 1944, PFC Infantry, killed in Germany JOHNSON, Sarah, 7 Jan 1892 - 12 Aug 1980 JOHNSON, AAron, 8 Jul 1888 - 16 May 1962 I don't know where Clay is located, but if the above names fit your ancestory, then I would think it would be very close to Auburn, Logan County, KY. You might check a map, sometimes the small village of the 1800's are still around and might be listed. Hope this helps. I'm looking for anyone who might be connected to the early John Baker or Coats' in Logan County KY... There is a later i.e. late 1700s Wilson Coats in the tax books of this county...just wondering if anyone has any info or might be connected to this family? Also the early John Baker i.e. 1792 - in Logan County KY I broke through two brickwalls with these tax lists...this Coats family links back to SC and goes to TN and the Baker family links back to VA and goes to TN...Wilson and Smith Counties in TN...there are a lot of John Bakers in TN... Also anyone familiar with the Poe or Po River area...I'm not sure if this is in Logan county or if the River name has changed but I can't seem to find it...since it is called a River, I'm assuming it is quite large?
