One of us have a name wrong. I have John Clarence Stratton married Martha Ann Smith Their children were: Benjamin L m. Artie M Ellis John W James W m. Mary Ellis (who was grandaughter of William Stratton, they were 2nd cousins) DANIEL B m. Lucinda Flood m. Ada Rynes Robert H George M Margaret E Sarah A There was 2 more born after 1860 I believe. One was stillborn or died shortly after birth. From what I have found, the person you have listed as David, is Daniel. However, I am wondering if he didn't go by both names. The reason I wonder this is, I found a marriage record for David B Stratton to Lucinda Flood. I found Daniel on the census with wife Lucinda. They had 4 children. Daniel later married Ada Rynes(Rhynes,Ryans) and had a son named Shirley. This is the information I have gotten so far. Feel free to correct anything I have wrong. I started my search with maybe a handful of names and no dates. I can only try to track back through records on the internet. I also found a Stratton book. Any information on this family is greatly appreciated.

    2. Coats Family History
    3. Hi everyone...I'm looking for resources for Logan County KY I have an early John Baker in Logan County KY in 1792, William Coats, Benjamin Coats and Wilson Coats in early Logan County KY in 1792/1793...these families later went to TN...John Baker was born in 1747 in Stafford County VA...after the Rev he went to SC where he ran into the Coats family, William and Ben Coats married 2 of John's daughter, Will married Nancy Baker around 1790 in SC and their first 2 or 3 children were born probably in Logan County KY, Ben married John's daughter Anna Baker about 1799 in Robertson County TN...Wilson Coats may have gone from Logan County KY to *Old Dock, NC* for a time...I think that is in present day Columbus County NC... One of John Baker's daughters Dicey Baker married a Richard Hutchings and lived and died in Logan County KY... I'm hoping I can find more information in Logan County KY that can give me more information on these families... So just wondering if anyone on the list has some good resources that might give me more information...I have some of the deed records from there and the early tax lists...but I'd sure like to find a bio on the Hutchings or marriage date or marriage info on Dicey... Thanks in advance for any morsel of info....:) Char -- Always Remember: Without documentation, genealogy is mythology! Coats Archive http://www.coatsarchive.us Need Original Records?
