    3. THANK YOU REX I WILL TRY THAT Rex Bertram <[email protected]> wrote: Have you checked the Logan Co. birth records for him? Most of the KY counties kept birth and death records between 1852 and 1858. I use them often when researching for my clients. The Allen County Library, in Ft. Wayne, IN (second largest genealogy library in the world) has these records available on microfilm for all of the KY counties. These records typically give names of both parents; normally including the maiden name of the mother, so they can be extremely helpful. Rex Bertram 132 S. I am trying to find out the death/burial info of her parents Nancy J Brown and Peter Bennison. They were last noted in 1900 Logan Co. _______________________________________________ No banners. 3. I have not changed my email address... Harold Taylor [email protected] ******************************************************** Hello I have recently been notified that several members have been dropped from the mailing list due to failing to notify list that you have changed email addresses.... If you are changing your email address, please let the list know so I can update your address and you will not get dropped. The standard time before dropping is three attempts are made to known address, if not received the list automatically drops your address. Also Rootsweb.com does not automatically send non member requests to the mailing list. It is first sent to me for review. If it is not of genealogical reasons, I can delete it and ban the address from the Logan County list. This is effort to stop the spasms getting into the system. So far, this new item from Rootsweb.com is working fine. I hope you will continue to use the mailing list. Lynne

ADAMS also from Hamilton Co. Il.Fanny and James T. were my g-grandparents on my mother's side. They had two sons and a daughter, Joe, Harry, and Dana ADAMS. Dana ADAMS married John Coil HOOKER. This is my mother's father and mother. So, I guess Mary Epley WOODRUFF would be my ggg-grandmother also on my mother's side. I may be able to more info from some relatives still living in Hamilton Co. Il. My mother was an only child, and her name was Velma Ottilee HOOKER. She married my father Charles E. Robertson. I know they were in Davidson County, TN in 1830-40s and Henrietta married William Cross there. I think maybe John was related to Vincent and maybe George - they were all in that area then. I know Henrietta and some of the other Sirls eventually came to Marshall County, KY. I just can't find any information on John and would appreciate any information you have.

    3. Loganites: I just returned from Salt Lake City - a venture of considerable size (both money and effort) for me. I found a book that provided me with an insight into the fortunes of my g-g-g grandparents in their first few years in Logan County in 1793 -1800. I don't know how - but I have returned home to learn I lost copies I'd made and all my notes on the book. Do any of you have a copy of Logan County, Kentucky, Tax List - 1792-1800; 976.976, R48c? My g-g-g grandparents were Daniel and Elizabeth McGoodwin. JiMcG
