I do have a Moody Burchett b 1906 Kentucky d 6 May 1976 -- son of Beverly Materson Burchett and Annie Manier -- grandson of Henry Patrick Burchett and Edith Stratton -- great grandson of Burrel B. Burchett. I also have Lillie but I don't think it is the same one. I actually knew this person and she was married to a Latham. b 14 June 1891 Kentucky d 25 June 1978 buried in Ebenezer Cemetery Christian County, Ketucky. He father was Benjanim Burrel Burchett and her mother was Emma C. Harned. There are a lot of Burchetts in northern Kentucky but I have not been able to establish a connection as of yet although it seems that must be related in some way as the name Burrel, Burl, Burel keeps coming up. Maybe it was just a popular name at the time but I really think there must be some connection. Let me know if this helps or not. 3. Susi - If you want, the local newspaper would probably run an "letter to editor" to help you find the family. The letter you wrote here explains the situation very well. Send to News-Democrat & Leader, P. O. 270, Russellville, KY 42276. Send it attention Chris Cooper and tell her Judy at the Genealogical Society suggested this source. ----- Original Message ----- From: susi c pentico To: kylogan@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, April 01, 2010 5:56 PM Subject: Re: [KYLOGAN] GIBSON Surname Thanks I will try that route.
