Hi Everyone, I am looking for my family also. They are: William Whitfield Ellisotn/Ellison, b. abt 1818, married Almira/Elmira Sturgus, 1841, in Lincoln Co., Ky. The name is Elliston, but is often found without the "T". Their children: Eliza b. abt. 1843 Lee b. abt 1845 Adeline b. abt. 1847 Margaret b. abt. 1850 William F. b. abt. 1854, Lincoln Co. Ky....married Lucinda Vaughn/Vonn, July 08, 1880, Lincoln Co., Ky. James b. abt. 1857 Albert b. abt. 1863, married Milly Vaughn/Vonn, October 14, 1880, Lincoln Co., Ky. Robert b. abt. 1864 Walter b. abt. 1867 According to the Census, Albert was born in 1863, but on his marriage certificate, he says he is 21, which would make his birth year 1859. It appears that he may have given the wrong age on the marriage records. I believe part of these children moved to Bell Co.
