    3. Just wondering about a few things regarding migration patterns into the Lincoln Co. area. St. Asaphs in Lincoln Co. - origin of naming (all I know is he was a Welsh saint) - discussion on the NC-SC list indicates that there was a St. Asaphs district in Orange County, NC- did settlers come from this area of NC? Pulaski County, KY/Pulaski County, VA - Any relationship (Yes, I know who Pulaski was)? Orange County, NC/ Orange County, IN - Any relationship? ---------------------------------------------- My curiosity has to do with migration of the DESCHAMPS/DISHION/DISHON/DESHON family from the coastal area of North Carolina. They entered Lincoln County about 1832, but parts of the family are found in: Chowan County, NC Orange County, NC Pulaski County, VA Pulaski County, KY Lincoln County, KY Orange County, IN ---------------------------------------------- Anyboby have information regarding families that may have come into Lincoln Co. from Pulaski Co, VA or Orange Co., NC? Where did your Lincoln County ancestors originate? Thanks for any info you can supply.
