Researching Roberts family of Lincoln Co., KY, specifically James Roberts, age 19, listed in household of Cassandra Roberts, age 80, b VA., in 1850 Lincoln Co., KY census. Also listed in this household (#165) is William age 22, laboror, b KY; Andrew age 25, laboror, b KY; and William age 15, laboror, b KY. (The printed Lincoln Co., KY 1850 census list the head of household as Amanda, age 50; this is wrong, the film, which has very clear writing, shows the name as Cassandra, age 80.) Believe Cassandra Roberts is the same person as Cassy Wright who married William Roberts [s/o William and Sarah Kelly Roberts] in Lincoln Co., KY in 1808. Also believe that they are the grandparents of the James Roberts age 19 living with Cassandra in 1850. Cannot prove who his parents are.
