Folks, it is a new list. They all take time. What helps is for each of us to post our own queries and, also, for each of us as we can to do lookups for the other. Or, at least make suggestions. When we all just sit back and wait for someone to magically post our own, it remains slow. We need to help each other. As for Lincoln County, since the death of Mrs. Dunn, getting materials from Stanford has always been difficult. They do have a historical society but all it publishes, so far as I know, is a monthly newsletter that does not lend itself to genealogy. I have not yet found anyone who lives in Lincoln County who wants to do research for others. By the way, there is a new Lincoln County book out published by the Boyle County KY Historical Society. It is "Lincoln County Virginia/Kentucky Deed Abstracts 1781 - 1795". Cost: $22 plus $2 postage. Write to Peggy Galloway, 808 Vinson Road, Danville, KY 40422. As for the list coming alive, it surely came alive this morning. I had 33 letters in my box. Whee!!!! Now, after playing "uninvited mama", may I ask if anyone is researching Miller or Goode in Lincoln? Thank you. Hazel
