My 4th grt grandfather James Hamilton b. 1758, Iron Hill, PA states he was removed to KY the fall previous to which was called the hard winter (which we believe to be 1779-80) with his family John Hamilton b. abt. 1725/26. He mar'd Cecelia Collier/Collyer d/o Moses and Ruth Whitley Collier/Collyer in Lincoln 1789. There is a marriage between Jacob Carpenter and Celia Hamilton, in Lincoln Co, 1822, can anyone lay claim or knowledge of either of them? Brenda
