Co KY) >From Deposition "I lived in the settlement on CASTLEWOOD's on Clinch from 1775 'till 1779. In that year I moved to Kentucky and in January 1781 I removed to my present residence about 5 miles from Danville. WILLIAM PITMAN lived in same settlement with myself until 1779, he then removed to this country and settled at mouth of Pitman creek, and was killed on water of Cumberland River 8 or 9 years ago."
