I need help finding out anything about early DISHONS in Lincoln. Here's what we know (6 of us online hunting): 1. There are still lots of DISHONS in Lincoln. I know - I've sent them all letters (received one back.) 2. Francis (or ancestor), Luke, and Lewis DISHON all arrived in Lincoln about 1832. 3. Francis fought in the Civil War, along with his son James Henry DISHON. 4. Luke DISHON was a minister of the Reformed Church (whatever that is/was). He performed marraiges. 5. DISHONS intermarried with ADAMS and are connected to PADGETTS and SINGLETONS. 6. Francis DISHON is said to have come from Virginia in two sources and North Carolina in two sources. Anyone here a DISHON descendent, or have info regarding any of them.
