Hi, I am looking for nay information about a Thomas Buford Sr. who married an Elizabeth Pierce in May 1797 in Lincoln County, Ky. Thomas Buford was Born March 11, 1776 in Bedford County, Va and moved to Kentucky in Lincoln County. He passed away on Dec. 31, 1814 along with his Father Henry Buford Sr. on Dec. 31, 1814. Any information about Elizabeth Pierce or Thomas and Henry Buford would be much appreciated. I believe Henry and Elizabeth's Father(Pierce) had much to do with starting up Horse racing somehow in this state (or it may just be the breeding of horses). Information that I have obtained says that the Buford's later bought a farm in MIssouri to add to their other already existing Horse farms in Kentucky. I hear the Farm is still in Missouri today by the name of Buford's Farm. Thanks for any information regarding Pierce or Buford of Lincoln County. Debra >From zadok@junct.com
