[Jesse was the brother of John Fish.] Jesse acted as deputy sheriff under Capt. Henry Anderson around 1822. Capt Anderson's wife was a Miss Stigall who owned all the land around presnt-day Brodhead, then known as Stigall's Station. Jesse Fish's records- Almira, oldest dau. of John Fish married Jefferson Stigall step-brother to my mother. Have you ever heard of Stigall's Station? I cannot find a mention of it..
