    3. Hey all, new to this list. I am wondering if anyone knows this man: GALE or GALEN E. or GALIN WESLEY, I have seen it written all three ways in records. I believe he was born ~1859 in Casey County KY, d.?5/30/1882. I was told he lived by Rock Lick Creek/Mintonville, KY, which I learned from a kind man named JASON HASTE, before he passed on. I know he is buried in an almost illegible gravestone in Watson's Chapel Cemetery. His father was GRINARD 'GRINNER' JOHN MILTON WESLEY (B. 1833 Casey County, KY, d. ???) 1) GRINNER JOHN married a MARY GADDIS, but I don't think this was GALE's mom. I was told GALE's mom was named SARAH ?, maybe GALE was born illegitamate?? 2) I believe GALE married a JANIE BARBER, but I think there have been others, married or not. I am looking for the mother of one of his progeny named MILTON JOHN WESLEY (b. 3/16/1877 Pulaski County, d. 6/14/1940 in Cincinnati, OH). MILTON JOHN married MARY ANN SWEET (b. 6/21/1882 in Pulaski County, d. 3/18/1967, Cincinnati, OH Hamilton County). Milton and Mary Ann married on March 30, 1898. I have info on other kids of GALE, but I really want to know which woman was the mother of MILTON JOHN WESLEY. And who was really the mother of GALE WESLEY? I haven't found conclusive evidence for either of these questions. Other info I am interested in learning is what kind of person was GALEN/GALE WESLEY? Was he a heavy drinker? Why did he burn my g grandpa's hands in a fire when MILTON JOHN was young? I have heard stories of MILTON and his cousin OTT RANDOLPH riding their horses into Sardis Church because Mary Ann Sweet and her sister Margaret were attending a service in the church and the 2 men wanted to make an impression. These are the things I would like to know about GALEN and his father GRINNER JOHN WESLEY. Also does anyone have any photographs of GALEN and of his father/mother etc.? I have only one picture of MILTON JOHN WESLEY and you can't see his face on account of a hat, but you can see his hands crippled up. Does anyone have any pictures of MILTON JOHN? Milton John and Mary Ann Sweet are my g grandpa and ma. I have family info from their lineage to share if anyone is interested. Thanks deb wesley Durham, NC rosewat@ibm.net
