Also, if you're in Louisville, the Filson Club on 3rd Street, the National Hdqrs. of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) on 4th Street and the Louisville Library at 4th & York Streets all have complete census records for the state. In Lexington, the University of Kentucky Divison of Special Collections and archives has the complete census records. The SAR has census records also has census indexes (or tax substitutes) for 1790-1880 for 44 states and complete census informationfor 1790 to 1840 for all states. There is a cost for non-members at the SAR and Filson Club. No charge at any of the other locations. Hope this helps. Happy researching. LaVerne Ashabranner
