I have wondered what happened to my subscription also. Never got a single acknowledgement that I was subscribed 'till I got these messages on the Digest today. Guess the list server is not configured to acknowledge subscriptions. We, the subscribers, now can get going and make this work for us now that we know it is alive. My interests are the Bird/Byrds that married in Lincoln Co in the 1795-1805 time frame. They all seem to have either migrated to other counties shortly after marrying, or were just organized out by county subdivisions. I have been trying to get Lincoln Co land record indexes to find out where they lived. May have some success with local hired researchers. We shall see.
