May I use this opportunity to suggest something? It happened to me again yesterday. If you do not find someone on a census when you feel sure he was there, check the tax lists. I have found people on tax lists right through a census year and they still will not be on the census. This gives you another avenue. Has anyone found concrete facts about the Millers of Lincoln County KY? Beamous Miller married Amerilla Goode 1826 LIncoln County. This allegedly occurred at Crab Orchard although I have never found proof of the location. I do have the marriage bond. Need to learn who were Beamous's parents. Hazel
Does anyone out there have census records for 1820 and 1830 for Lincoln County that they would like to share with me? Thanks from Jim Walls

Searching for information regarding the families of Francis DISHON or Clara ADAMS, who were married in Lincoln in 1843. Francis, Luke, and Lewis DISHON appear in Lincoln in the early 1830's. It is supposed from the evidence that they came from NC. Other DISHONS appear in 1820/1830 Orange County, IN, apparently also from NC. Are these related? Who were their NC forebears? Any help would be appreciated. Any DISHON researchers out there? Dick Forston (gg-grandson of Francis DISHON) rforston@uky.campus.mci.net Lexington, KY

I am trying to find others researching the Blairs and Boyd who were in Lincoln Co KY. Sarah Boyd, the daughter of Robert Boyd, married Peter Blair there in 1786. The Boyd family had been in Iredell Co NC and in PA before that. They went on to Davidson and Sumner Co TN. When Sarah Boyd and Peter Blair married, the "relative" listed was Harrison Blair. I have information about the Boyd line that I can share. I need innfo about these Blairs. Mary Jo
listed was Harrison Blair. Does anybody know these Blairs? They are making me crazy. Mary Jo

SHARON shaennelt@hotmail.com Hello all: Regarding this message: the 1810 Lincoln County heads of household (as you know, no other names were listed in the enumeration of 1810) are online at the Lincoln Co. Hi, Norman. Sorry, I don't have access to do the lookup for you, but thought I would mention that you won't be able to find your ancestor by name at age 5 in 1830, because children were not listed by name until 1850. The closest you could get with the census would be to find a CHAMBERS household, with a male child that fell into that particular date range (prob. 0-5 or something like that). Good luck!
