Does anyone know if there were laws in existence about where you could be buried at the end of the last century? I am having a hard time finding where my great-great grandfather was buried in Lewis Co. KY and just wondered if someone who died in 1896 could have been buried on their own land or would they have had to have been buried in a proper cemetery by then. Linda
