    1. [KYLEWIS-L] Re: Rev. Fee and Cabin Creek Area
    2. I'm not familiar with the Rev. Fee information but I do know about Cabin Creek families since I'm descended from Robert Viers/Voiers who bought land on Quicks Run in the Cabin Creek area of Lewis Co. The Viers were wild and loved a fight. They also came out for the South in a fairly heavily Union County. I've always heard they decided they'd get a better chance to fight if they declared for the South. Anyway, moving into their area would have been a somewhat crazy idea if you were an avid abolitionist! My aunts always told me the Voiers were noted for their sharpshooting, fighting ability and charm. Since my dad (at age 89) is still one of the best shots I've ever seen, still a flirt and a charmer and came back from WWII after fighting in one of the most heavily involved and decorated outfits in the European theater (101st Airborne), I'm inclined to agree with them. BTW, at 89+ he looks like 69, still lives alone, hunts, fishes, drives his own car, farms, and works his grandsons into the ground. Sue
