Long been tracing the parents of GEORGE BROWN,one of Lewis Co' 1st J.P'S .George had married his 1st-COONROD-wife south of Moorefield,WV-S Branch Potomac. Likely b 1767,though 1760 birth is used by some to squeeze him to a DAR story. Pretty hard to have a REV WAR SGT b 1767. Lived on Cabin Creek in e Lewis Co,and married his 2nd JOHN wife in Mason Co. Looking for hints, like who he migrated to Cabin Creek with,AND WHEN. 3-4 years after Lewis Co was formed,GEORGE moved 3 miles from where I type at Bethel,Clermont Co,Oh joining siblings, and perhaps his parents,THOMAS and MARY oSBORN[?]BALL? BROWN..At the time Lewis Co was formed, his aged parents lived on land adjoinging his BRO-IN-LAW James Sandusky's Station,se Millersburg,Bourbon Co Ky. George BROWN ,like far too many, lost his farm here at Bethel,Oh to land suit, and moved to RUSH CO,IND. Much in print about his parents, some parts of which are fiction. After many years,I still don't know where they lived before MOOREFIELD WV Rev War times. Baptist likely.
