I know there is a beautiful French Quarter Hotel in Maysville. It's new - my Mom and Aunt stayed there last year. You can watch the boats go down the river from the balcony. Also. AA highway has brought many stores etc. I know there is a Wal-Mart and think fast food restaurants. Hope this helps. Dede Ard
