Mary Ann (b: August 1871) and Sarah ROSE were from the area around Lewis County, KY. Mary Ann married Lafayette IRWIN (b: 1860) in neighboring Adams Co., OH. Sarah married John James IRWIN (Lafayette's brother) about the same time. (John and Lafayette's mother was Sarah BENNINGTON.) Both ROSE-IRWIN families settled in Adams Co., then onto Paulding Co.
