I'll be going to Frankfort next month to check out land records in an attempt to trace the connection between the Virginia VIERS and the Maryland VEIRS families. I do have certification of the marriage between Robert VIARS and Mary CARPENTER. The state historical society does not have this information and I'll give them a photo copy. I wonder if the Lewis County Historical Society would also like a copy? It might be a good idea to have the info on file there, too. Does anyone have their address?
