He was married 3rd to Harriet M. FREEMAN (daughter of Alexander E. FREEMAN and Elizabeth HOOVER) on 24 Jan 1882 in Lewis Co., KY. Harriet M. FREEMAN was born on 10 Sep 1843 in Lewis Co., KY. She died on 20 Feb 1920 in Springdale, Mason Co., KY. She was buried in Bethany Church Cemetery, Cabin Creek Rd., Mason Co., KY. She has Ancestral File number W468-S2. MARR: Lewis Co., KY. Vol. E. Louisa WILLIAMS (daughter of Samuel T. WILLIAMS and Pernina Jane SHELTON) was born in Mar 1878 in Union Twp, Brown Co., OH. She died in 1935. She was buried in IOOF Cemetery, Manchester, Adams Co., OH. Hayes MCELROY and Louisa WILLIAMS had the following children: i. Toner MCELROY was born <1900> in <Union Twp, Brown Co., OH>. ii.
