Historical Society newsletter, Shakin' & Diggin' (June 1983). Bivens Cemetery Bivens Cemetery is located about 3 miles up Quick's Run Road on a small hill behind the residence of Leroy Howell. It is enclosed and in good condition. A few stones are down and some not all readable. My mother Dolly Voiers Doyle, who is buried there, once told me her grandmother Louisiana Voiers, who is also buried there, said the graveyard used to be quite a bit larger. Patty Doyle McGraw copied these tombstones for me. I am very much indebted to her for this. Why it is called Bevins Cemetery I do not know as there is only one Bivens buried there that I know of.
