I first found John H. and family in the 1850 census for Adams County Ohio listed under surname HENDER/HINDER. He is listed in 1860 and 1870 for Lewis County Kentucky and his wife was listed as a widow in the 1880 census. Census info states that John H. FLINDERS was born in Pennsylvania and on his marriage certificate for he and his 2nd wife states that his parents were born in Ireland. I have found nothing on the family in Pennsylvania census.
