Trying to find information on my Grandmother Rhoda Thacker (ca 1877 - 1945) and her several husbands. Rhoda Thacker married Samuel Bloomfield in Lewis County in 1894 and they had several children. Samuel Bloomfield died ca 1905. Looking for information on his ancestry and his life. Anyone know who his parents were? When he died? Where he is buried? Rhoda Thacker Bloomfield married Francis Marion Polley ca 1907 (date and place unknown) and they had several children. F. M. Polley (generally called Marion) died November 4, 1926 in Lewis County, again leaving Rhoda a widow. Marion is buried in the Mount Tabor cemetery without a stone. Anybody know a way to determine where in the cemetery he is buried? . Sometime between November 1926 and May 1930, Rhoda married George Rayburn but I have found no marriage record. Rhoda Rayburn and her son Orbey Polley are found in the 1930 Campbell County census but no record has been found of George Rayburn. I believe he had died by May 1930 but don't know for sure. I have no information on George Rayburn but suspect he may have lived in the area of Lewis County. Anybody know anything about this George Rayburn?
