I do not have any Plummers in my background, except for Plummer Thomas. But I do know that the Plummers intermarried with at least one daughter of the Thomas line back in Culpeper Co., Va area in the 1760s or 1770s and I think Plummer Thomas is named for the husband of a much older sister. Sue
Anita @[email protected] has Plummers in her ancestral background. If you have any, would you be kind enough to contact her? Spirit

Historical Society newsletter, Shakin' & Diggin' (June 1983). Bivens Cemetery Bivens Cemetery is located about 3 miles up Quick's Run Road on a small hill behind the residence of Leroy Howell. It is enclosed and in good condition. A few stones are down and some not all readable. My mother Dolly Voiers Doyle, who is buried there, once told me her grandmother Louisiana Voiers, who is also buried there, said the graveyard used to be quite a bit larger. Patty Doyle McGraw copied these tombstones for me. I am very much indebted to her for this. Why it is called Bevins Cemetery I do not know as there is only one Bivens buried there that I know of. I'm not sure that my info is your Morgan family but I do McDaniel research in Lewis Co KY and I have the following from a letter I received in 1983....it states, in part, a letter from an Amos Howard of Lewis Co KY, as follows: "The first settlement on Kinnicocnick was of equal date with Salt Lick (abt 1800). At the time John McDaniel or Old Major as he was also known, came from Salt Lick and located a Kentucky land warrant on a tract of land opposite Laurel Fork on Kinniconick. He settled a tenant by the name of Morgan on this land. In the Morgan family there was one girl by the name of Nancy. She gave birth to a daughter out of wedlock, John McDaniel being the father named the girl Savilla Ann McDaniel, she was Amos Howard's grandmother. The above named Nancy Morgan became the owner of the above tract of land through a gift from Mr. McDaniel. It later went to Savilla Ann, his daughter." I think this is all I have on the Morgan name but I thought it might help someone that is looking for land records....It does seem like I saw the name of that man but I'll have to keep looking. Nancy is on the 1850 Lewis Co KY census with the McDaniel family. Bonny << These Morgan from time to time lived in Lewis County and lived on Cabin Creek and Bull Run in Mason County.
