Would anyone be able to look-up a marriage record on William RICE. I believe that he probably married between 1905-1909. His wife's name was Mary. In the 1910 census he is living with in-laws whose last name appears to be Green; in the 1920 census the in-laws last name appears to be Guin or Gunn. I would appreciate any help I can get on this. I first found John H. and family in the 1850 census for Adams County Ohio listed under surname HENDER/HINDER. He is listed in 1860 and 1870 for Lewis County Kentucky and his wife was listed as a widow in the 1880 census. Census info states that John H. FLINDERS was born in Pennsylvania and on his marriage certificate for he and his 2nd wife states that his parents were born in Ireland. I have found nothing on the family in Pennsylvania census. 1870 census in Lewis County shows a David D. Flinders, 31, farm laborer, born in Ohio. He is "living with" a Maria Flinders, 28, keeping house, born in Kentucky. Is there anyone who is doing research on this gentleman? Maria Flinders marries in 1877 a James W. Patton. Maria's maiden name was Anna Mariah Gray, daughter of Robert K Gray, Sr. and Louesa Irvin. She was born in 1841 in Vanceburg. David D Flinders was living with John H. Flinders in 1860 in Lewis County. He served in the 22 Kentucky Inf. during the Civil War, but I can find no record of a marriage to Maria or a divorce. David D. Flinders did not died, but married a lady by the name of Permalia, last name unknown. They had a son named Percy D. Flinders, who in the 1880 census in one year old. Maria and David had no children.
