    2. Hi, Cristie, Here is what I found today. I did find Robert Moore in Mason County, IL in 1860. (I was surprised, as I thought maybe they were visiting on Nov.15, 1862, when she went into labor). Actually, there are tons of Moores in Mason Co. Some born in OH, some in MD and some in IL. They married into the Zolman family, the Spears family from England, and the Webb family. This is what I discovered today. Tomorrow, I will check out the 1850 Census, when they spelled their name, "Moor". It appears that the wife of brother, John Moor, is an Elizabeth J. (?) Moor. They have a child, Mary A., born in 1846, and a son, Tobias, born in 1850. Sorry, but I don't see a connection so far. However, I will keep at it and let you know if I find any tidbits of info that you could make use of...... Take Care.................Judy Goodwin
