I'm tracing the line of Sumners back through my grandmother, Susie (Sumner) Burnett, who lived in Perry County, Kentucky and died in 1975. Her parents were John "Shank" Sumner and Betty Jane (Combs) Sumner. John's parents were John and Lucinda (Craft) Sumner. John and Lucinda were apparently married in Letcher County, Kentucky, in 1866. John "Shank" was married in approximately 1893, I'm guessing in Perry County. But I don't have a record of his marriage. Any help is appreciated. Tim Ashley
