Born Jan. 31, 1930, in Haymond, [Letcher County], Ky., in his beloved “bear holler;” he spent most of his life in Middletown. Willie was a decorated Korean War veteran, earning the Purple Heart, a Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal with three bronze service stars, National Defense service medal, United Nations service medal, Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation badge as well as the Combat Infantryman Badge. He was a Master Mason with F. & A.M. No. 884-Lonesome Pine in Neon, Ky., and a member of the DAV No. 131 since 1964. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years Margie Leedy on Dec. 23, 1998, as well as his parents, Virgie Polly and Richard Isaac. He is survived by seven children, Frank (Carole) Isaac, Burt Isaac, Ron (Sandy) Isaac, Don (Barb) Isaac, and Melissa Isaac, all of Middletown, Belinda Isaac, of Miamisburg, and Anthony (Julie) Isaac, of Albany, Ga.; six grandchildren, Ronda Arnett, Marc and Kelli Isaac, Heather, Chris, and Kevin Isaac, as well as one on the way. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Cynthia and Delana Arnett. All of these children were the light of his life. He is also survived by his brother Frank Hale of Washington, D.C. Dad, may you go rest high on the mountain. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, Middletown. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
