She was a native of Jenkins, Ky. born Dec. 10, 1934, and a retired operating room nurse at Jewish Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Louisville, Ky. Survivors include two daughters, Fran Cooley and her husband, Randall Cooley, Jeffersonville and Mary Lyn Bostock, London, Ohio; Six grandchildren, Adam Bostock Georgetown, In., Jessica Bostock, London, Ohio, Lane Carroll, Evan Carroll, Jeffery Cooley and Jessica Cooley of Jeffersonville, In. She was preceded in death by her husband James Adams, and her parents, John Smith Hale and Lenora Cornett Hale. Visitation at the funeral home will be noon to 8pm Sunday, Feb.27, and after 9am Monday. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
