Sturgill married Rachel Caudill on June 22, 1882 in Letcher County. One of their children was Nancy Mae who married Elijah Clay Lewis. These were my grandparents. James died while Rachel was pregnant with Nancy Mae. We believe this occured in Missouri possibly from TB. Rachel later married Henry Halcomb. Any help is appreciated.
