    1. Re: searching for Robert D. Adams
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Craft, Adams Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FBB.2ACE/815.1 Message Board Post: Crafts Colly Creek is east by northeast of Whitesburg, between there and Mayking. The creek appears to flow almost directly south along Route 2034. Rt. 2034, a north-south county road appears on the map to connect with KY Rt. 15 and US Rt. 119 at Ermine, about midway between Whitesburg and Mayking. The gravesite of Archelous Craft (married to Elizabeth Adams)is said to be located "three miles north of Crafts Colly, near Ermine, KY, and there is a historical highway marker near his gravesite on US Rt. 119 at Ermine. The name of your Robert D. Adams is not listed online in three cemeteries stated to be at Ermine, so probably the best bet is to contact the funeral homes in the area and see if you can locate the cemetery. The death certificate should give the name of the funeral home who buried Mr. Adams. I just did a search to try to locate the funeral homes, and found instead the community of "Colly", which is located less than a half mile northeast of Ermine on US Rt. 119, or less than two miles southwest of Mayking. Perhaps that is what you are looking for. (found on Yahoo Maps and Driving Directions).
