JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON MORRIS E. MAGGARD FROM DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 7/6/06 Morris E. Maggard Sr. (Gene) age 78 beloved husband, father and grandfather, departed this life on July 5, 2006, after a courageous fight with his illness. Gene was born in Neon, KY, September 19, 1927 the son of Dewey and Mae (Wilson) Maggard, retired from Flint Ink Corp. after 40 years of dedicated service in 1993. Preceded in death by a brother, Charles and a sister, Brenda. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 46 years, Juanita; children, Morris E. (Mabel) Maggard, Jr. of Dayton (OH), Douglas (Judy) Steinbruegge of Miamisburg (OH), James (Debbie) Steinbruegge of Trotwood (OH), Margaret (Clinton) Davis of Moraine (OH), Larry (Betty) Maggard of Stanton, KY, Brenda Sue (Ronny) Gehring of Kettering (OH), Ronnie (Angie) Maggard of Xenia (OH) and Sheryl (Mike) Mullins of Dayton (OH); 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nora of Allcock, KY and Faye of Jackson, KY; 3 brothers, Jim of Jackson, KY, Doc of Kodak, KY and Otis of Ary, KY and numerous ni! eces, nephews and friends. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel" 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Entombment Royal Oak Mausoleum. Brother Earl D. Wilcher officiating.
