I have found internet postings that state Adrian Metcalf married Barbara Hensley, daughter of Lewis Hensley and Nancy Howard. According to a book, A Study of Metcalfs, Andrew, & Smiths, by Clayton G. Metcalf, the above statement is accurate. But recently I located a web site entitled Martygrant.com, who claims extensive research regarding the family, there is no documentation verifying that Lewis and Nancy had a daughter by the name of Barbara Hensley.
