Greetings, Combs family researchers indicate that Shadrack Combs (s/o John "Soldier John" Combs and Margaret Nantz) had several children out of wedlock with Rebecca Stacey: Kendrick (who married Elizabeth Jones, d/o Jonathan T Jones and Lucinda [?]), Biram, and Cynthy. Shadrack was born about 1784 in Virginia, but migrated with his brothers into southeast Kentucky, and apparently lived in Letcher. Does anyone happen to know who the parents of Rebecca Stacey were?
