(Actually, though I do include an extremely large Caudill family tree in my book, "The Caudills," the focus of this work is the origin and meaning of the Caudill name, not the genealogy of the Caudill family.) My Caudill research is independent of Mr. Clayton Cox, so I can't comment specifically on individuals in his books. However, I consider him a fine researcher and genealogist and list him in my book as a resource for those studying the Caudills. Sorry, but I have no documentation for your Caudill line.
