Isom and Judah did have a daughter, Margaret, who fits the age and location, but on closer inspection, Clayton Cox "Applachian Crossroads" later refers to Margaret, dau of Isom and Juda as the mother of Ida Young, and wife of William Young. That does not necessarily rule this out completely, as Margaret may have married more than once ... But after much analysis, I am more inclined to believe your Margaret Caudill was the daughter of Wilburn and Nancy (Caudill) Caudill. Clayton did not have parentage for Wilburn, b. c 1812 in NC, but has a great deal more on his wife, Nancy Caudill.
