Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/FBB.2ACE/652.2 Message Board Post: I really thought I could help you with this, but after several hours of researching, I do not find parents for Margaret Caudill, and, apparently, neither did Clayton Cox, as Volume 3, pgs 1060-1063 of "Appalachian Crossroads" outline William Riley Combs and his ancestry, which includes his grandmother, Henryetta Caudill who md George Adams. And, names William Riley Combs wife as Margaret Caudill, with nothing to link her elsewhere in his work. Since it appears the first child of William Riley Combs and Margaret Caudill, George Combs, is listed as being born 28 mar 1887, I can only assume that Margaret Caudill was b. ca 1860-1870.
