AL; parents b. AL - coal miner . .Nellie, wife, 34, mar. at 23, b. KY; parents b. KY . Lillian O., dau, 5?, b. TN; father b. AL; mother b. KY . .Paul, son, 2 yr 10 months, b. KY; father b. AL; mother b. KY DEATS, Homer T., stepson, 16, single, b. TN; father b. TN; mother b. KY . .Louie, stepson, 13, b. KY; father b. TN; mother b. KY . .Mattie?, stepdau, 9, b. KY; father b. TN; mother b. KY . .Odessa?, stepdau, 6, b. KY; father b. TN; mother b. KY NOTE: So, a complicated family. I really cannot determine whose these children are who are DEATS. Could they be leftover from the death of the spouse of say Nettie WILSON? Or, could Bill LeQUIRE married someone in TN and she brought with her these children from an earlier married and then she died? Have no idea. This is from the 1920 Cumberland Co., TN Fed. Census. I cannot say for sure this is Bill LeQUIRE's family but there are things about it that make me think it might be him. Dwelling 939-431? - 4th Dist. LeQUIRE, Joseph A., head, 75, b. NC; parents b. AL . .Horace, son, 16, b. AL, single . Lillie, grandau, 5, b. TN (could this possibly be the Lillie on the 1930) NOTE: Sort of looks to be him with his father's name being Joseph and his middle name being Joseph.
