I am wondering if anyone is researching the line of Jehu Cody b. 12 Jan 1835 and his wife, Matilda Smith, b. abt 1837. I am trying to confirm that Matilda is the daughter of William Smith b. about 1793 and his wife Milley Combs. I find a William and Millie Smith in Letcher Co., KY in 1850 and 1860, but I am not sure that is the correct family. Jackson and Mary Combs are living with them in 1850 and I can not find a connection there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Karen Jefferson County Indiana lookup Volunteer
